I have a friend who is a psychology major with a love of the dark and macabre. I was trying to figure out what to make her for the holidays when I found this lovely pattern. I started immediately and almost finished...and then the procrastination set in! About a month and a half later (last week), I finally put the finishing touches on.
I didn't have a frame, so I colored the wooden hoop with a black sharpie. This is a good contrast to the white Aida.
Apparently I have caught the cross stitch bug, because I am working on my largest project yet-- the Flying Spaghetti Monster! Progress pics to follow.
